ArchivesAl Qaeda In Haditha: The Battle The Media IgnoredIf this exclusive is completely accurate then it is a bombshell story that the media completely ignored or overlooked. It probably didn’t line up with their narrative for the war. According to the report, the Time reporter that broke this story played the fool to an al Qaeda operative and the actual attacks were done by militant operatives led by Al Qaeda. Others were quick to echo the propaganda , overlooking key facts and evidence as the MSM does so well, from the New York Times to Congressman John Murtha. Nathaniel R. Helms has the story: Media Fail at Fact Checking on 12 Year Old Voice of SCHIP; Blogs Pick Up SlackThe media piled on when President Bush used his veto pen on this children's health insurance bill. They tried to drop the absolute moral authority bomb on it big time and paint him as not caring about children. Now it looks like a little backfire is on the horizon. On September 29th, 12 year old Graeme Frost of Maryland got to do the Democrats’ radio address, in which he told his story of how he and his sister were seriously injured in a car accident, and if it hadn’t been for SCHIP, they wouldn’t be here today. The Baltimore Sun did a story on the family, in which it stated the family couldn’t get health insurance through their work.
Media's 'beauty shots' of HillariousI'm really get tired of the media's illegal promotion of Hillarious Clinton. Lately the media uses only photos of Mrs. Bill Clinton that portray her in smiling, friendly poses (to offset her very high negative numbers, no doubt) or in poses that portray her as learned and wise (to offset her lack of personal accomplishment). Another old trick being used is to select photos that look up at her, elevating her image and status literally, and in poses that suggest she has already won the election and is waving triumphantly to the audience. Too bad Republicans can't seem able to do anything about all the unethical, if not illegal, campaigning the media does for Democrats. And right under our noses yet. Berkeley Daily Planet Ignored Code Pink Defacement of Recruiting OfficeDespite much photographic evidence of defacement and criminal graffiti by far left, anti-war, group Code Pink at a U.S. Marine Recruitment Center, The Berkeley Daily Planet ran the headline, "Code Pink Protests Marine Recruitment Center." It was more than hanging up pink posters that said "RECRUITERS LIE, CHILDREN DIE" and chanting anti-war cheers. As is often the case with this radical leftist group, things went overboard into the criminal realm of property defacement and damage. Yet, even beyond the lacking headline tag, one would never know if reading the Berkely Daily Planet. ‘Journalists’ Tell Howard Kurtz Why Good News from Iraq Shouldn’t Get Reported (updated w/video)
To Kurtz's obvious frustration, his guests - Robin Wright of the Washington Post and Barbara Starr of CNN - both supported the press burying this extremely positive announcement. I kid you not. *****Update: Wright responds to reader e-mail message at end of post. After introducing the subject, Kurtz asked, "Robin Wright, should that decline in Iraq casualties have gotten more media attention?" This was Wright's amazing answer (video available here): A Story So 'Earth-Shaking,' It's Highlighted Four Times! Were you aware that embattled Idaho Senator Larry Craig has been inducted into the Idaho Hall of Fame? If you journeyed over to MSNBC.com, you couldn't miss [this AP] story; their 8:30am EDT update highlights it not once, not twice, not three times, but four times in different sections of their main page. Here's one from the "Inside MSNBC.com" segment: Did anyone else notice?"Active forum topics" disappeared from the right margin of the page. (I suspect the masthead was gettin' jealous, in at least some cases like the Hannity & Colmes text-phone-poll biased-lie/incompetence bust!!) Or maybe didn't want to discuss finances now that -- despite massive media bias & endless whining about him -- Ron Paul has done-well.
Or maybe there's another explanation for the mysterious disappearance, but I sure found it more-useful than some of the other sections, which remain despite being boring where "Active Forum Topics" was interesting. 5.08 millionI've been gone for a while, so I might be posting something that has already been discussed, but I can live with that. I'm sure many of you have been trying to come up with a new way of dismissing Ron Paul after hearing that he raised over $5 million in the last quarter. And unlike most candidates, he raised more money than previous quarters. Which means he is GAINING support. (OH the horror!) Maybe fighting him so hard is just showing everyone the validity of his positions. After you get done screaming about how wrong he is about the war, ask yourself how Ron Paul leads all other candidates in campaign donations from active and veteran military. Let the Ron Paul bashing begin! |
